8/21 – Payton’s Tuesday Afternoon Forecast

Another warm and muggy start to the the day, and we are watching a few showers and thunderstorms starting to develop. The cold front is in Central Mississippi currently, and will continue it’s track to the south very very slowly. It will eventually move into the area this evening into tonight, but with the movement so slow rain chances will stick around until about Sunrise on Wednesday. Most will be dry tonight though. Into Wednesday and Thursday expect mostly sunny skies, and drier air! That means it won’t feel too bad outside, but it will still be quite warm. Into Friday the moisture returns and so do the rain chances as we go into the weekend.

TROPICS: No tropical development is expected over the next five days.
