7/25 – Rob’s Tuesday “Potentially HEAVY RAIN” Forecast

After a good bit in the way of rainfall yesterday, another round of showers/t-storms are on tap today. The HEAVIEST rainfall/accumulation was recorded in N’tern Stone and Pearl River counties…in excess of 6″, the coastal counties saw an average of 1/2″.

Today will bring the same scenario with the activity poised to be closer to Hattiesburg through Meridian. The strong moisture flow will develop the activity early morning through late afternoon. Showers & t-storms will affect the viewing area as flow from an area of high-pressure in the central Gulf of Mexico…will move the activity west to east.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect through 7 p.m…
