7/10 – Rob’s Monday Morning Forecast

A weak cold front which moved overhead yesterday morning…has now retreated to the north as a stationary front. Today will bring a nice dry morning with a NE wind switching to the south this afternoon. With the wind switch, activity from the south will move into and develop along the viewing area.

The workweek will bring a return to a typical summertime pattern with afternoon activity induced by the sea-breezy. Minimal afternoon activity will elevate later in the workweek as an area of high-pressure moves into the NE’tern Gulf of Mexico. This will begin to elevate the moisture flow.
