7/23 – Rob’s “Cold front” Tuesday Morning Forecast

We should see a good bit of activity start up relatively early today as a cold front moves at a strong pace for this time of year. The air mass change (cold front) is over northern Louisiana and northern Mississippi. Today will bring showers/t-storms beginning early as the front moves south slowly. The front should be over the northern gulf by this evening as the activity will begin to taper-off.

Once the front moves through, winds will change to northerly and eventually easterly by Thursday…with a drier air mass moving into the region. We fully expect a surge of moisture back into the area by Friday or Friday night.
