7/13 – Jeff Vorick’s “Thunderstorms Moving Through” Thursday Evening Forecast
Scattered thunderstorms will be in our area for the early portion of this evening. Some thunderstorms could bring very heavy rainfall, and pack frequent lightning. A strong wind gust or two cannot be ruled out. Some gradual clearing will take place overnight but cloud coverage will remain dominant.
Very humid conditions will continue to plague our area. A Heat Advisory will be in effect from 10 AM until 8 PM Friday. There will again be thunderstorm chances tomorrow. That being said, there is not much confidence in coverage Friday or Saturday. Pieces of energy moving through the atmosphere will provide for windows of opportunity for a thunderstorm complex.
Outside of thunderstorm complexes, there will also be daily airmass/sea breeze thunderstorms. The pattern will revert to a VERY hot summer pattern next week. There will be the potential for dangerous heat by midweek.
