5/9 – Rob’s Tuesday Morning Forecast

The Status-Quo continues as high-pressure is in firm control of the weather. A blocking pattern along the Gulf Coast will continue to bring sunny and dry conditions to the area. As the area of high-pressure drifts to the east, a return flow will begin to elevate the humidity and moisture through the atmosphere.

A cold front will approach and move through the area Friday/night with showers and t-storms along with the SLIGHT THREAT for a few t-storms to become SEVERE. The weather will clear to the east early Saturday morning with Sunny skies by the afternoon. Mother’s Day will bring sunny skies with temps rebounding back into the low 80s.
