4/29 – Payton’s Sunday Night Forecast

A weak cold front moved through the area bringing in somewhat drier conditions. This means your Monday morning will be a bit chilly, but by the afternoon plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the upper 70s along the coast and lower 80s inland. On Tuesday high pressure will start to build to the east, and there is slight chance of showers and maybe a thunderstorms as a plume of moisture moves along the peripheral of the high. By Wednesday things clear out and it warms up. It stays that way until Friday. A cold front will approach the area into the weekend, and that means rain chances will come back. There is still some uncertainty with how long the front will stick around. If it stalls in the area, then that could mean clouds and showers for most of the weekend, but if it moves through then things will start to clear out by Sunday.
