3/18 – The Chief’s “GORGEOUS Start of Spring” Weekend Forecast
Behind the front, drier and cooler air will move in for the weekend. The front may linger over the coastal waters for about 24 hours, so marine areas could still see some light precipitation Saturday. High temperatures will be much closer to normal (lower 70s) with cooler than normal overnight lows tonight and Saturday night. As surface flow turns easterly, we`ll see some moderation in low temperature Sunday night.
WELCOME SPRING (Sunday at 10:33 AM CDT)
Next week is going to be quite active and interesting. Overall, models are in agreement with respect to timing of multiple rounds of storms next week. The first should move through late Tuesday afternoon with another round Wednesday morning. The set-up look like SEVERE parameters will be in the area, as our Spring SEVERE WEATHER pattern begins.
