Temperatures gradually warm through Friday

Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at the week ahead

Clear skies and comfortable temperatures are sticking around across South Mississippi through the next several days.

Afternoon highs will stay in the upper 70s to low 80s through Friday, with cooler mornings in the low and mid 50s.

By the weekend, temperatures will dip a bit as winds pick up around 10-15 mph from the north.

Expect highs in the mid to upper 70s and morning lows in the low to mid 50s, with afternoon temperatures climbing back into the low 80s by Tuesday.

Overall, it’s shaping up to be a beautiful weekend to tackle some of those fall activities on the calendar!
