9/2 – Rob’s Labor Day “Midday News” Forecast

Dorian slows to a crawl over the northern Bahamas and looses a little intensity…now a CAT 4 hurricane.

The Mississippi gulf coast will find showers/t-storms this afternoon coupled with daytime heating. The main hazard will be strong possibly damaging winds. Heavy rainfall will accompany but all activity should move quite rapidly not allowing for any particular cell to stay over an area long.

The remainder of the workweek into the weekend will bring HOT temperatures but lower humidity from a NW wind should keep the oppressive heat out of the area.
