2/9 – Jeff Vorick’s “Warmer Start” Friday Morning Forecast
Areas of patchy dense fog will dissipate quickly this morning. Cloud cover will remain in place with peeks of sunshine here and there. Temperatures will be quite warm with 70s across our area this afternoon. Expect a 20% or so chance of passing showers at times for your Friday.
A slow-moving train of storm systems will be parked in our region this weekend. Saturday brings areas of dense fog to start, then 30-40% chances of passing showers at most points during the day. Do not expect a washout tomorrow by any means – the main issue will be reduced visibility if sea fog ends up sticking around.
Sunday brings scattered showers and embedded thunderstorms. The difficulty will be exact placement of where rainfall lines up hence why rain chances sit around 60%. The cold front will clear the area Monday bringing an end to rain chances. Cooler, but quieter conditions arrive for Fat Tuesday and Valentine’s Day.
