2/12 – Jeff’s “Some Clearing/Gusty Winds” Lundi Gras Afternoon Forecast

A cold front moved through the area this morning which brought an end to the rainfall. This afternoon, some sunshine will emerge but the main concern will be gusty winds. Secure decorations and be mindful of the conditions if you are partaking in parades today. It will be cooler tonight and colder out the door tomorrow morning. While winds back off somewhat, temperatures in the upper-30s/lower 40s will feel like the low-mid 30s on Mardi Gras morning.

While less windy, it could still be breezy on Fat Tuesday. A cooler stretch greets us for the first part of this week even through Ash Wednesday/Valentine’s Day. It becomes a tad milder for the end of the week ahead of a storm system. Mostly cloudy skies Thursday give way to cloudy skies at the end of this week and rain chances in view.
