12/15 Ryan’s “More Active” Tuesday Night Forecast

We didn’t see much active weather last weekend, but we’re getting some now as a front moves in. It’ll be a pretty quick event though, lasting only a few hours before sunrise. Expect our cloudy skies to remain through the night, with a low near 50 which will come early on in the night. Spotty showers possible until around 2 AM, when the leading edge of the main line moves in.

That means we’ll see scattered showers and with the possibility of a thunderstorm or two from 2 Am-6:30 AM.

A thunderstorm or two is expected, but severe weather is not. While some upper level cloud cover will linger through a good bit of tomorrow afternoon, expect to see clearing skies into the night. Cooler and drier air moves in quickly, leading to near or below freezing temperatures by Thursday night. Similarly to the last few weeks, the rest of the week looks sunny and dry while we wait for another weekend front.
