12/11 Ryan’s “Wintry” Wednesday Evening Forecast

We didn’t see any of that wintry mix further north last night, but it certainly feels more wintry today. The skies will clear some and the winds will die down allowing for more radiational cooling, so expect a chilly low near 40 for Gulfport. Inland areas will be even cooler, but will remain north of freezing in South MS.

Thursday will begin with relatively clear skies and a high near 58, but clouds and rain move in quickly.

A low pressure system will be passing just to the southeast of us late Thursday, and it will keep clouds and rain in the area through Friday. By Saturday morning the skies will begin to clear and we’ll enjoy a beautiful sunny weekend! Temperatures will linger in the mid to upper 60s as well, so it won’t be too hot or too cool. Temperatures rise into the 70s by Monday, but another front will have us back in the 50s by Tuesday.
