12/10 Ryan’s “Rapid Cooling” Monday Evening Forecast

Expect rapid cooling this evening thanks to light winds and clear skies, bringing freezing temperatures back to the Coast. Tonight’s low will fall to 34 degrees on the waterfront, so inland areas will be freezing or below. Nothing dangerous is expected, but long term exposure without warm clothing/bedding certainly can be.

Tonight will be the coldest, but we’ll slowly keep getting warmer and more humid until our next weather-maker moves in on Thursday.

This front will bring another round of heavy showers and thunderstorms for a day, but won’t linger like last weekend’s system did. The drier air will clear the way for several mostly sunny days, but it won’t be as cold as it is now. So next week will start considerably warmer than the last few have.
