11/29 – Rob’s WARMER Mid-Week Forecast

The next weather system for the local area is taking shape over the TX and OK panhandles. This system is will draw moisture northward from the Gulf of Mexico as it moves eastward tomorrow. As it draws the moisture inland, there will be quite a gradient between drier areas to the east and more moist areas to the west. Expect a similar gradient tomorrow in the rain chances, with higher chances across the area. The surface low will continue its eastward progress tonight night, and will force a weak cold front into and through the area Thursday. Rain chances will be highest Thursday, but even then, only looking at about 40 percent chance of precip…with only a slight drop in temps after passage.

There are some differences showing up in the guidance going into the weekend and beyond. I have not strayed far from the inherited forecast, which appears to be a bit closer to the current model solution. Next system looks to affect the local area during the early/middle part of next week.
