11/28 Ryan’s “Rainy” Monday Night Forecast

After a cloudy and ominous looking afternoon, it finally turned into a rainy evening. Scattered showers began popping up in South MS around 9 PM, and they’ll continue popping up and moving towards the Northwest through the evening. The frontal boundary itself never pushes through, but instead lifts off to the North, trailing a newly developed low pressure center and cold front through Gulf Coast overnight Tuesday. Overall it will rain though tonight and most of tomorrow, but rain totals are not expected to exceed 2″ at many coastal cities. High pressure moves in Wednesday night, so evenings will be clear and cold for a a few days with sunny and cooler afternoons. As we begin next week, another frontal system is expected to move through bringing more rain Sunday and Monday.
