11/20 Ryan’s “Roller-Coaster” Monday Afternoon Forecast

We’re going for another ride on the South Mississippi temperature roller-coaster all week long, but overall the weather will remain nice & sunny. Yesterday was the coldest night we’ve seen in quite a while and today’s high maxed out in the upper 50s, but tonight will bottom out in the mid 40s while tomorrow’s high will climb back into the 70s. This little “heat wave” doesn’t last long because a weak, moisture-starved cold front will move through overnight on Tuesday, bringing another blast of cooling/drying air, which should drop our daytime high back into the low 60s by Thanksgiving. Expect a few nights in the low-to-mid 40s around then as well, but the airmass will begin moderating rather quickly and we’ll be back to 70 by Saturday afternoon. This is where we head into turn two of the roller-coaster, since another dry front is expected overnight on Saturday, meaning temperatures will fall back into the mid 60s by the beginning of next week.
