11/07 Ryan’s “November Rain” Monday Forecast

It’s been weeks since we received our last significant rain, but today finally ended the long drought. The initial, early morning rain band dropped over an inch of rain near Gulfport with other locations getting as much as three. Expect the showers to linger, but taper off considerably, as we head through the overnight hours and into tomorrow morning. Rain and storms are likely to continue through the afternoon, and even strengthen during the later part of the day, but severe weather is not forecast at this time. The rain will continue into Wednesday afternoon, but since “nothing lasts forever, even cold November rain,” we’ll see clearing and drying as we head through the weekend and into next week.
