10/25 – Payton’s Thursday Morning Forecast

A very rainy start to your Thursday, and it’s going to continue for most of the morning and early afternoon. A few thunderstorms could be on the strong to severe side as a warm front moves through the area this morning. This means gusty winds and we can’t rule out a waterspout or two. By this afternoon the activity becomes a little more spotty as the low lifts to the northeast. A cold front moving behind the low brings cooler and drier air for Friday. Going into the weekend it will be nice and dry. By Monday another frontal boundary will bring another shot of drier air. Into Tuesday and Wednesday it’s looking dry and sunny. By Wednesday night, another cold front will move through the area, which could bring rain chances. This might impact parts of Halloween, but rain might hold off until after midnight.
