10/08 Ryan’s “Wet Start” Monday Evening Forecast

We got off to a bit of a wet start this week as we expected, but drier and more “fall-like” conditions are moving in soon! First thing’s first, Hurricane Michael formed today and is going to come uncomfortably close to home. It’s still expected to move to the East of us, which would bring very little impact to the local area. It really just comes down to timing. A cold front is closing in slowly from the Northwest, and this will be what ultimately deflects Michael. This front will not only save us from the tropical system, it will also bring in cooler and drier air. Rain chances in the short term forecast remain around 40-50%, but it’s looking sunny and about 10 degrees cooler by the end of the workweek.
