Gautier man killed in Saturday crash on I-10 in Jackson County
JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- A Gautier man is dead after a crash on I-10 in Jackson County Saturday night.
According to Mississippi Highway Patrol, officials responded to a fatal crash on I-10 at 11 p.m. Saturday, October 24.
Once on scene, officers found that a 2025 Kawaski ZX 10 driven by 28-year-old Austin Tangen of Gautier was traveling west on Interstate 10 when he collided with a BMW motorcycle that was traveling west on I-10.
Tangen sustained fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver of the motorcycle sustained no injuries.
This crash remains under investigation by Mississippi Highway Patrol.
