10/07 Ryan’s “Cruisin’ Ends” Sunday Night Forecast

Cruisin’ the coast officially came to an end this weekend, and as the classic cars roll out it seems the rain and cloud cover is rolling in. That’s exactly what we expected to see though, so after a long, sunny week we’re in for a stormy start to this one.

The activity over the next few days will be due to daytime heating as fronts continue to close in, but we won’t see a frontal passage until Wednesday or Thursday.

This will of course initially bring rain, but we’ll see our first round of cooler/dryer Fall air afterwards. This also will help in regards to our Tropical Outlook over the next few days. The front that’s pushing through the area by Wednesday will basically force then Hurricane Michael to the East of us; not only ushering in cooler and drier air, but also sparing South MS a direct hit. Basically we’re left with only a few more days of rainy, summer-like weather before some cooler and drier conditions move in.
