1/18 – Jeff’s “Cold Front” Thursday Night Forecast

A cold front passes through the area tonight bringing a wind shift and another shot of cold air. North/northwest winds will be around to start your Friday and with clearing skies, they will pick up and turn gustier at times tomorrow. Temperatures will be cooler as compared to Thursday so expect a chilly one during the day. It will turn extremely cold again for the weekend with a Hard Freeze Watch in effect from 12 AM – 9 AM Saturday.

Remember the 4 Ps with the cold temperatures including bringing in plants and pets, protecting pipes, and checking on people. Saturday will be chilly and breezy while Saturday night could be the colder of the two nights. A major warm-up and pattern change arrive for next week. Temperatures will be above average and it will be quite rainy at times with rounds of rain expected from late Monday through the end of next week.
