1/15 – Rob’s “Warming Trend” Friday Afternoon Forecast
NW winds will continue this afternoon with sunny skies. High pressure will build in over the weekend with some light freezing temps during the overnight mainly for the interior counties.
Quiet conditions expected along the north Gulf coast through the period with a warming trend and some wetter conditions for at least a portion of the forecast area by mid-week. A strong cut-off low and mid/upper level disturbance are expected to develop near the Desert SW/Baja/northwest Mexico region Tuesday into Wednesday. At this point, showing a slight chance of precipitation Tuesday night through Thursday and holding a cold front back from the area until Thursday night or Friday morning.
