1/10 – Jeff Vorick’s “Beautiful Day” Tuesday Afternoon Forecast

Clear skies and sunshine will be the story of this afternoon. Temperatures will soar well into the 60s across our area. Tonight, a warm front will move through our area. The increasing humidity will limit the temperature drop. After midnight, there is a possibility of patchy fog developing. It will be in the form of sea fog.

Tomorrow will feature partly cloudy skies and very warm temperatures. Moisture return will not be sufficient for any rainfall other than a 20% chance during the evening. A frontal system will be making its way east during the middle of the week.

On Thursday, there is the potential for strong to severe thunderstorms. We are currently under a Marginal (Level 1 of 5) risk for severity. The threat is for strong straight-line winds and isolated tornadic activity. The cold front will pass through our area during the latter half of the day. There will be a noticeable cooldown behind it!
