09/23 Ryan’s “Fall Friday Night” Forecast

While it’s certainly cooler than it was earlier today, our first Fall Friday night is still a ways away from feeling very “Fall-like.” Upper level ridging and surface high pressure has kept our skies clear for the last week, but afternoon showers will return as early as tomorrow. Temps will remain in the low 90s for at least another day, before increasing cloud cover an an approaching cold front bring them into the 80s for the remainder of the week. Expect rain to linger Monday to Tuesday, before the front eventually passes and brings clearer skies and drier air.

Tropical disturbance one is moving quickly away from the African Coast, and by the beginning of next week will be entering an area more conducive for tropical development.
