09/16 Ryan’s “Wet Football Friday” Forecast

Well football Friday got a little wet tonight. A few games were cancelled and many were delayed as thunderstorms moved through the area. Those storms have since become showers and will continue to weaken throughout the night, but we’ll see more showers and storms as early as tomorrow afternoon. The showers will continue into Sunday and even a few on Monday before a front will either pass by or dissipate overhead, leading to some drier, sunnier weather mid next week.

The tropics continue to be active, and TS Karl heads Westward into the Central Atlantic. We’ll continue to monitor that situation, as well as the new tropical disturbance moving away from the African Coast.
