09/14 Ryan’s “Summer Night” Wednesday Forecast

It was a beautiful summer night in South MS this evening with temperatures cooling into the mid-70s and thinning cloud cover. Don’t expect any fronts to pass by over the next few days, so without any forcing mechanisms we’ll revert to our usual summertime regime with hot and humid days, afternoon showers, and early morning/overnight showers. This pattern will carry us through the weekend, but it looks like a strong front could be moving into the area by the beginning of next week, giving us a preview of some Fall conditions.

In the Tropics, Julia continues to ride the Eastern coastline into South Carolina and Tropical Depression 12 formed. We’ll continue to watch the development of both of these systems and advise if it becomes relevant to the Gulf Coast.
