09/22 Ryan’s “Beta Moves” Tuesday Evening Forecast
We’ve endured a long string of grey, rainy days recently, and that’ll continue a bit longer as Beta moves in. Beta made landfall in Texas last night, has since gone stationary, but is now moving slowly northeast.
Beta will pick up speed a bit going forward, and will drift through Mississippi from Wednesday night to Thursday afternoon.
Tonight, expect the clouds to thin slightly with an isolated shower possible, and a warmer low near 70. Tomorrow begins the increased impact from Beta as it drifts further inland, so cloudy skies with a 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms. As Beta moves away by Friday morning things will begin clearing rapidly. Drier air moves in and will be reinforced by a stronger front by the start of next week. That means we’ll see much more sun, but we’ll still see at least a few showers over the weekend.
