09/13 Ryan’s “Hurricane Florence” Thursday Night Forecast

Hurricane Florence closes in on the East Coast, but locally the weather is improving rapidly.

TOMORROW WILL BE THE RAINIEST DAY WE’LL SEE OVER THE NEXT WEEK, AND EVEN THAT WILL ONLY ENTAIL A FEW AFTERNOON SHOWERS.

Saturday will be hot and reasonably humid, with heat indices climbing into the 105 degree range and an air temperature at 91. Drier air moves into the upper levels, so expect little-to-no cloud cover from Saturday through the foreseeable future.

TEMPERATURES WILL COOL INTO THE LOW 90S AFTER THE WEEKEND, AND SHOULD CONTINUE DOING SO INTO THE UPPER 80S JUST BEFORE NEXT WEEKEND.

While it will remain drier overall, we’ll see the return of a few afternoon summer storms by Tuesday. While the local weather may be beautiful, don’t forget our friends and family on the East Coast in your thoughts and prayers tonight.
