08/21 Ryan’s “Enhanced” Wednesday Forecast

Expect more afternoon showers for the rest of the week, and even more as moisture is enhanced over the weekend. There is a weak tropical wave in the Central Gulf which is slowly creeping to the northwest.

This will bring enhanced lift and moisture into the area, leading to a 20-30% bump in rain chances for Friday and Saturday.

Before and after that though just expect more of the same. The rest of the week will be just as hot and humid as it’s been, highs still running slightly below average in the upper 80s, nights will remain muggy and linger in the mid to upper 70s, and rain chances will hold steady at 30%.
