In the tropics, we are tracking three different systems. One system in the Caribbean has a high chance, 80%, of becoming a tropical depression or tropical storm over the next 5 days as it moves westward. Meanwhile, another system over the central Atlantic has a 90% chance of formation through 5 days. The National Hurricane Center is also watching a new tropical wave emerging off the coast of Africa, which has a 20% chance of formation.
