08/08 Ryan’s “Wet Afternoon” Wednesday Evening Forecast

We saw another wet afternoon after the sea breeze set up, and while I expect little change tomorrow we’ll see more rain for the weekend.

Thursday afternoon will be very similar to what we’ve seen over the last few days.

It’ll be relatively drier with lower humidity until the sea breeze sets up and moves inland, at which point we’ll see a smattering of showers and thunderstorms. These will be on the weaker side and generally short-lived, but expect more organization as the frontal system finally pushes into Mississippi by Friday.

This boundary will slow and stall over the area which will keep the cloudy skies and rainy conditions in place through the weekend.

We’ll start to see some clearing by Sunday night and will be in for a much sunnier and warmer start to next week.
