07/13 Ryan’s “Still Miserable” Monday Evening Forecast

Still pretty miserable in South MS today as we begin another hot week. Heat indices peaked between 110-115 across the Coast today, with little change expected in the days ahead. That little change will be due to increased rain activity, something we missed over the weekend. Our evening showers have dried up, so expect partly cloudy skies and a warm, humid night near 78.

Tomorrow will be about as hot as today was, but will have more cool spots in the afternoon as showers develop.

Expect mostly sunny skies and a high near 95, though it’ll feel closer to 110. With the exceptions of a slightly more rainy Thursday and a slightly less rainy Saturday, the rest of the week will be the same pattern. That means more highs in the low 90s with mostly sunny skies and scattered afternoon showers with clearing nighttime skies and lows near 80.
