06/23 Ryan’s “Stormy Weather” Tuesday Evening Forecast

Everyone in South MS today likely saw some stormy weather, a trend that’ll continue for another few days. We’re about to see round two of our active weather for the evening, so expect showers to linger overnight.

Tonight’s low will remain on the warm side, near 77 degrees, with cloudy skies.

Shower chances near sunrise are at 30%, but increase significantly to 80% by the afternoon. Expect another hot and miserably humid one, with a high near 89 and widespread thunderstorms. Activity will peak between 1 PM – 5 PM due to heating, and will weaken again overnight…just to return again Thursday.

Sadly, we won’t be breaking this pattern anytime soon.

The only relief we will see begins to arrive Thursday night as upper level Saharan air moves in, but at least a slight chance of rain remains everyday.
