06/20 Ryan’s “Hot & Humid” Wednesday Night Forecast

It was hot and dry today, and while we keep the hot part, wetter conditions move in over the next few days. A front is pushing into the Southeast, but it doesn’t look like it will hold together long enough to bring significant active weather.

SO WHILE TOMORROW OFFICIALLY STARTS THE SUMMER SEASON, IT WILL IRONICALLY BE THE COOLEST DAY WE’LL SEE ALL WEEK.

Mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers will keep us out of the 90s on the waterfront, inland areas will be a bit warmer though. The front will break up as it swings through, so don’t expect a dramatic change in temperature or humidity for Friday.

THE TEMPERATURE WILL CONTINUE TO RISE THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND INTO NEXT WEEK, LEADING TO SOME POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS HEAT INDICES.

Please be sure to remain hydrated and limit exposure to the sun through this first Summer weekend.
