05/30 Ryan’s “Last Stormy” Wednesday Evening Forecast

This afternoon was the last stormy one we’ll see for a little while as considerably drier air moves in. Expect the days to be even hotter and just as humid, but drier air in the upper levels will limit convection.

This means as air tries to rise, cool, and condense due to daytime heating, it will only be able to rise so far, preventing showers from forming.

We’ll continue to see a few cumulus clouds before the weekend, but by Friday they’ll clear up allowing for plenty of sunshine. The weekend will be sunny and hot, and by Saturday the upper levels will have moistened and cooled enough to bring the rain chances back. It cools slightly as the next workweek rolls around, but the hot and humid conditions remain.
