03/23 Ryan’s “Rain Begins” Tuesday Night Forecast

The rain begins today, but won’t stop until nearly the end of the week thanks to a few slow-moving fronts. That means the rain won’t let up through the night, eventually even warming some as southerly winds pump in warmer, more humid air. Expect an overnight low near 68, with cloudy skies and widespread showers.

Thunderstorms will be less frequent through the night, but pick up again tomorrow.

That leaves us with another “marginal” risk through tomorrow afternoon, though that bumps up even further Thursday. By then it will have increased to “enhanced” (level 3 of 5) for a small portion of South MS, with a “slight” risk for the rest. This event will be similar to what we saw a few days ago as rotating storms will be much easier to produce. Even as things clear a bit through the weekend we’ll still see an off chance of a few showers.
