02/21 Ryan’s “Record Warm” Wednesday Evening Forecast

Another day down, another record high temperature in the books. I expect the record highs to keep coming through the rest of the week and weekend, but it looks like they’ll be just out of reach as we start heading into next week. We’re still trapped under this slowly advancing frontal system, meaning the warm, moist air keeps funneling into the area but never gets pushed out by the front’s passage. That means we’re stuck with these conditions for at least the rest of the week, until around Sunday morning when a cold front finally moves in. Unfortunately, this boundary looks like it will stall out immediately and begin breaking down, so the rainy/stormy conditions are in no hurry to leave. They’ll linger until Monday evening/Tuesday Morning before rain chances begin to diminish, but it still looks like it’ll be a few more days before we’ll see any significant break in the clouds.
