02/07 Ryan’s “Still Rainy” Wednesday Evening Forecast
It’s still rainy out there South Mississippi, but we will get a short reprieve tomorrow before it all comes back for the weekend. I’m not expecting any thunderstorms from this point forward, but a few moderate-to-heavy bands of showers will slowly move through the area for the rest of the evening. The front itself is becoming stationary, but will continue to slowly drift to the South, stopping in the Northern Gulf. This means while conditions will improve greatly for Thursday morning and afternoon, this decaying boundary will become a warm front and move inland bringing overcast skies back by Thursday night/Friday morning. This frontal system will begin to break down by Friday night, and will be swept away by another frontal system moving down from the mountains. This front won’t pass until Sunday morning/afternoon, so expect rain in the area from Friday afternoon until then with yet another front primed to move in almost immediately after.
