01/18 Ryan’s “Foggy” Wednesday Night Forecast

It’s been foggy every night since last weekend and that’s not expected to change tonight. Dense fog advisories have already been issued for all but Pearl River Co. until at least 9:00 am tomorrow, but the “real” weather story will be the storms moving through after noon, some of which could be severe. It’s looking less and less like severe weather will be an issue, but between 1-3″ of rain are expected in many areas with this saturated system so standing water and flash flooding could become a problem. We’ll see some clearing as we head into Friday, and end up with a mostly sunny and warm afternoon. More storms move in for the weekend, and these have a higher chance of damaging weather. The overnight hours of Friday/Saturday will see another storm system moving in and it looks like 2 fronts will move through between Saturday and Sunday, with Saturday night’s being the most worrisome. Stay tuned for more updates with this system.
