01/02 Ryan’s “First 2017” Monday Night Forecast

After a rainy weekend and a stormy start to 2017, this is the first forecast of the New Year. Luckily, it is calling for a bit more sun than we started this week with. Fog and floods will be the main issues facing the coast after the storms moved on, as all three local rivers are already over flood stage and will continue to rise into tomorrow afternoon. Clearing skies, wet ground, and saturated air will contribute to dense fog development, which should dissipate by 8 am tomorrow. Expect partly sunny skies at that point, with temps in the low 70s along the water. The only rain on the week’s radar is expected around Saturday, which will also finally bring some cooling and drying.
