01/21 Ryan’s “Warm, Wet” Thursday Night Forecast

Temperatures have been trending on the warm side, but now we can add “wet” to our list of descriptors. Only seen spotty light showers so far today, but more consistent rain fall is moving in overnight. Expect around a 40% chance of showers until sunrise, with more expected Friday afternoon. Tonight’s low will linger in the low 60s, near our seasonal daytime average.

Tomorrow warms slightly, but will be slightly cooler than today thanks to cloud cover and rain.

Thunderstorms aren’t out of the question, but severe weather is not expected. There will be some slight clearing Friday night/Saturday morning thanks to a weak front, but moisture surges back quickly. Expect cloudy to mostly cloudy skies for most of the week from Saturday on, with at least a 20% chance of showers. Temperatures will climb into the 70 degree range by the start of next week, but cooler, drier conditions move in by the weekend.
