01/20 Ryan’s “Changing” Wednesday Night Forecast

The weather is changing much more noticeably as highs creep towards 70 and overnight fog returns. Interestingly, it’s actually cooler as I’m writing this (53) than it will be by sunrise (55) as warming increases in the early morning hours. Tomorrow will almost be as warm as today was, but increasing cloud cover and spotty rain will bring the high down a degree to 67. From this point forward, the next week will be considerably more cloudy than the last few days have been. Rain still won’t be too much of an issue.

I expect a few impulses to bring quick bouts of moderate to heavy showers early Friday morning and again in the afternoon.

I still don’t expect to average more than an inch across South MS through the weekend, but a few localized areas could see some higher totals as those showers race through. This will keep a minimum of partly sunny skies in place until next Wednesday, which is when we begin changing again…for the cooler and drier this time.
