01/16 Ryan’s “Wishy-Washy” Wednesday Night Forecast

The overall weather for the last few days has been quite wishy-washy. Cloudy conditions have moved in at night just to clear by the next day and clear nights have become cloudy days, but more consistent weather is coming. It won’t be for the best though, as clouds gather tonight and we won’t see clear skies again until next week due to multiple fronts.

THE FIRST WILL ARRIVE LATE THURSDAY, AND WILL BE QUITE WEAK. ONLY SCATTERED SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED AS IT PUSHES THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY MORNING, BUT SATURDAY’S FRONT WILL BE MUCH MORE ROBUST.

Heavy showers and a few thunderstorms are all but guaranteed, but severe weather only has a “marginal” chance right now. The worst part of this last system in my opinion will be the arctic air mass it brings. Temperatures will fall to near or slightly below freezing by Sunday night, and the gusty winds expected will drop wind chills as low as the 20s! Frigid weather aside, we’ll begin next week dry, sunny, and cool with a nearly perfect Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
