Ryan’s “Rainy Start” Monday Night Forecast
Last week was sunny and drier, but we’re already off to a rainy start to this one. An upper level short-wave low pressure area is moving through and is increasing lift just enough to create showers and thunderstorms. Rainfall totals won’t be drastic, but thunderstorms are possible through the night.
WE’RE CURRENTLY UNDER A “MARGINAL” RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER, BUT I DON’T FEEL THE METRICS SUPPORT ANY SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITY.
Just be “weather aware” if any thunderstorms develop in your area. Tomorrow will start off rainy, but I’m expecting it to begin clearing by the evening. Rain chances fall to low ranges and the sky clears some, but the clouds and showers won’t fully leave until we head into the weekend. Timing seems appropriate too since it’ll be the first official weekend of Summer after the solstice this Friday.
