Ryan’s “Post-Storm” Sunday Night Forecast

All last week we spoke of this afternoon’s potential for damaging weather, and now we can begin our “post-storm” workweek. Expect a few showers, clouds, and high humidity to remain until just after midnight, when the front will finally move through South MS. This will bring cooler & drier air to the area as a high pressure center moves almost directly overhead for the next few days. That means Monday and Tuesday will be clear, sunny, and slightly cooler (upper 70s on Monday, low 80s on Tuesday).

Wednesday afternoon will bring another chance of showers to the area as a warm front moves in during the evening, and is followed by an associated cold front Thursday morning. Severe threat is not expected to be significant with this storm, but a few thunderstorms are likely. Afterwards, a ridge moves in for the weekend bringing another round of clear, dry, and cooler weather!
