Ryan’s “Humid Hump Day” Forecast

It was quite a beautiful, but humid “hump” day today with temperatures reaching 90 in the afternoon and not many showers. A few showers tried to pop up on the Eastern edge of the viewing area but they didn’t last long, dissipating into light showers by 10:30 PM. A small chance of showers exists for tomorrow and the next few days, but I’m expecting it to be much drier and any shower activity will be limited to the afternoon. While high pressure will dominate our weather pattern for the next 3 days, we’ll see a cold front slide into the SE by the beginning of next week bringing rain chances slightly up Sunday & Monday. After that though, expect more clearing leading to some of the clearest, warmest days we’ve seen in quite some time. TS Fiona formed out of TD Six this afternoon, but at this time is not expected to make any sort of significant landfall. We’ll continue to monitor the situation to make sure we have the latest information.
