Ryan’s “HOT Wednesday Night” Forecast

It has been an uncomfortably hot and humid Wednesday night so far with heat indices remaining in the hundreds through ten o’clock at night. We will begin to cool off eventually, and expect to end the night near 77 under mostly clear skies. The heat returns tomorrow, our afternoon high will top out near 92 along the waterfront, and we’ll have a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout the hottest parts of the afternoon. Sadly, we don’t get much of a break from the heat over the next few days, as Friday and Saturday are expected to be some of the hottest days so far, temps ranging in the mid to upper 90s. We will get some weak frontal passages through Friday and Saturday though, which do increase our rain and cloud cover in the short term, and will cool us into the upper 80s by the beginning of next week. These cooler/drier conditions hang around for a few days, but we gradually return to the 90s by the middle of the week. Monday is the official start of Summer, so it only gets hotter from here…
